My name is Lisa Atufunwa. I am in my last couple of months at Michigan State University. I will be graduating in May with a B.A. in Advertising. However, I hope to go into Public Relations as a profession.

 

I am from Denver, CO. I was born on the day the Denver Broncos won the AFC Championship against Clevland in 1987 (those who know football know the date). So, I’ll forever will be known as a Bronco baby!

I do love sports! I love watching basketball, volleyball, and football (when I have the time to watch it). I use to play six different sports growing up: volleyball, basketball, softball, tennis, soccor, and track.

I love to travel. One day I would like to take time off and travel all over the world so I can learn about different cultures and meet different people.

I have a passion for music. I listen to different types of music genre. If it sounds good and touches me on the inside, I’ll love it! I would like to pick back up the piano one day and continue learning how to play.

I am writing this blog for many reasons. First, it is a requirement for my New Media Drivers License class that I am taking this semester (I wrote a post about the class, so please read more about it). Second, I have been finding the right time to begin my own blog; so the time is now. I want to express my thoughts on the things that are important to me; my future, my thoughts, and the things that I learn everyday. And that’s what this blog will be about: the things I learn everyday, whether it is about public relations, advertising, new media, or the latest song that came out. I will express that to the world in this blog.
